TARDIS
Teaching Archaeological Research Design in Simulation

Does your class want to dig up the past, not just for the day but the whole term? Everick Foundation is proud to introduce the TARDIS – Teaching Archaeological Research Design in Simulation.

The TARDIS is a mock-excavation on your campus, a permanent feature that can be annually re-used and re-purposed to suite multiple Year levels. We work with your school to create your very own excavation, filled with several archaeological layers containing artefacts.

Overview

The TARDIS experience allows your students to truly understand the totality of the archaeological process.

With instruction from our team of professional archaeologists, we cover a range of archaeological activities and provide participants an ‘Archaeology Skills Passport’, which can be used to assess student proficiency of various skills throughout the term.

Learning Outcomes
